Compeer recently held an Autumn Fun Fest at the Gerry Rodeo Ground Conference Center. About 60 people were in attendance for a day of games, cookie decorating, monster chairs, pumpkin painting, apple bunting, dancing, and of course, a costume contest for adults and children. Music was provided by Matt Ekstrom from Afterdark Event Management. Several students from SUNY Fredonia’s Social Work club helped with games and interacted with the families. The petting zoo was provided by Mike Morton, which is always a crowd pleaser. Plans are underway for another Autumn Fun Fest next October 2016.
