The 16th annual Compeer Fore Youth golf tournament was held recently at the Chautauqua Golf Club.
The first-place team of David Maternowski, Ben Miller, Dan Mets and Lenny Truby led the field with a score of 60.
Second prize went to the team of Todd Carruth, Jeff Jamison, Matt Wronski and Devon Ruhlman with a score of 62. The team of Nicolas Manguso, James A. Manguso, James W. Manguso and Michael Terranova won third place with a score of 63.
Prizes for the longest drive were won by Derek Melquist for the men and by Lauren Fish for the women. Closest to the pin prizes went to John Trussalo for the men and to Cindy Calcagno for the women.
Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Compeer for Youth Program. The programs matches trained and compassionate mentors who offer friendship and a positive role model to youth ages 5 to 17 referred to the program by mental health and school professionals.
